The GLA is slightly longer than the A-Class and while powertrain and specs are yet to be confirmed, the GLA concept from the 2013 Shanghai motor show featured the same 155kW 2.0-litre engine as the A250 hot hatch, driving all four wheels via a seven-speed dual clutch auto.
