The Tonale maintains classic Alfa Romeo styling cues – including the V-shaped Scudetto grille and five-hole wheels – but with a brand-first 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine coupled to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and 48V mild hybrid system.

After setting the Nurburgring lap record for a production SUV, Alfa Romeo will honour its Stelvio Quadrifoglio with the limited-run NRING edition, with three examples coming to Australia. A number of performance enhancements are included, but the model’s 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 carries over unchanged.

Alfa Romeo is set to commemorate its Nurburgring-conquering Giulia Quadrifoglio in August, with the release of the limited-run Giulia NRING. The NRING scores a number of performance goodies such as carbon ceramic brakes, carbon-fibre trim, special wheels and a matte grey colour.
