Revised seven-seat MU-X adopts additional safety tech, revised suspension tune, refreshed aesthetics, and more features than before. Two- and four-wheel drive range now topped by dark-themed X-Terrain grade. Carry over 1.9- and 3.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engines remain.

The Blade is a dual-cab ute modified by Walkinshaw Automotive for a bespoke tuning and styling program to create a rough-road-ready range-topping version of the popular Japanese-branded pick-up. The model retains Isuzu’s venerable 3.0-litre four-cylinder turbodiesel.

Incoming 100kW/350Nm 1.9-litre turbo-diesel Isuzu D-Max ute accompanies range wide update. Paired with an Aisin-sourced six-speed automatic transmission with two- and four-wheel drive configurations, minor spec’ changes and equipment additions.

Incoming 1.9-litre turbo-diesel MU-X offers Isuzu buyers more choice and more range, with the MY24 MU-X line-up now encompassing nine variants and two engine offerings: the new 1.9-litre joining the carryover 3.0-litre turbo-diesel to mirror that offered in the D-Max ute.

With the first-gen MU-X still outselling rivals at it entered retirement, Isuzu can expect big things from this all-new model.
