Mazda CX-80 is available across four trim levels and three electrified driveline options to fill a gap vacated by the CX-8 and CX-9. The CX-80 fills the same role as a longer version of the CX-60 with the same trio of powertrain options offered on the CX-60, in petrol, diesel, and PHEV.

MAZDA’s SUV range grows again with the Australian introduction of the CX-70, slotting into the new large SUV group as its flagship. The five-seater is available in GT and top-shelf Azami grades only, with petrol and diesel engines available in both trims, along with all-wheel drive as standard.

Nine-year-old MX-5 ND series is upgraded with a focus on track driving and increased connectivity. Changes to external lighting are evident, while the manual gearbox scores a DSC-Track mode optimised for circuit driving in concert with a newly developed limited slip diff.

A mild massage for the long-serving CX-5 sees the line-up comprise Maxx, Maxx Sport, Touring, GT SP and Akera variants. Power remains from 2.0-litre and 2.5-litre petrol or 2.5-litre turbo petrol units in front- or all-wheel drive. Some new colours, features and technology is now available

Mazda’s tweaked CX-30 SUV has an efficiency boost with available hybrid powertrain. Advanced safety technology, interior and exterior styling enhancements, improved drive feel, and more customisation opportunities mark the new model that also scores additional equipment.

Mazda’s eight-year-old CX-3 light SUV is undergoes a “comprehensive update” with tweaked styling and a simplified model range to five. Boasts additional safety features and standard equipment as well as “signature Mazda technology”. FWD only, 2.0-litre petrol only, auto only.

The larger, more modern CX-90 replaces the CX-9 large SUV. It is offered in three grades, all with seven seats, and a choice of petrol or diesel six-cylinder MHEV engines, all backed by an eight-speed auto and all-wheel drive.

Ageing light-segment hatch and sedan line-up gets a price uptick, new paint finishes and styling tweaks but carries over 1.5-litre petrol engine and remains largely the same underneath. 

Upgraded tech, tweaked suspension and refreshed looks for petrol and diesel CX-8s in return for prices that rise by between $1520 and $2520, now starting from $42,060 + ORC.

Mazda has given its CX-5 another update. It now offers even more equipment, a refined driving experience (courtesy of a more rigid body) and greater technology and safety levels.

Mazda Australia now offers its 2.5-litre petrol engine on all front-wheel-drive versions of the CX-8, while the 2.2-litre turbodiesel motor does duty on high-spec two- and all-wheel-drive derivatives.

The Hiroshima-based brand’s subtly updated CX-5 medium SUV is now available in six trim grades, two transmission choices, four engines and the choice of front- and all-wheel drive.

Mazda offers its MY22 MX-5 roadster in 2.0-litre guise only, while the range gains Kinematic Posture Control suspension technology, new trim and paint options, as well as safety upgrades. 

Following the lead of its development partner Isuzu, Mazda has updated its BT-50 pick-up truck for the 2022 model year with more variants, more standard features and a new engine choice.

Running changes for the CX-30 SUV range include a new mild-hybrid drivetrain option shared with the MX-30 crossover and a sporty-looking SP trim level.

The first all-electric Mazda is suitably avant-garde inside and out, available in high-spec Astina trim only, and priced to match.

Following the example set by the Mazda6, the updated Mazda CX-5 range has arrived Down Under lead by the new GT SP.

New to the Mazda6 range for 2021 is the sports-oriented GT SP which features blacked out exterior trim and burgundy leather upholstery with prices starting from $46,690.

Mazda has facelifted its CX-3 small SUV for 2021 as well as upped the safety credetials and standard equipment lists with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto now standard across the range.

The CX-9 Azami LE is Mazda’s new flagship for 2021 with the top-spec large SUV actually losing a seat to now be a six-seater while the rest of the range scores an updated infotainment system and paddle shifters.

Mazda has added some extra dynamism to its iconic MX-5 range with the new GT RS twins featuring Bilstein suspension and Brembo brakes while wireless Apple CarPlay has been added the rest of the range.

Mazda adds Single Cab and Freestyle Cab body-styles to its all-new BT-50 range with the newadditions kicking off from $36,550 plus on-roads.

Mazda has teamed up with Isuzu Ute to create the all-new BT-50 with virtually nothing other than the badge being carried over from the last model.

Mazda's new Skyactiv-X mild-hybrid compression-ignition powertrain has arrived Down Under under the bonnet of the Mazda3 X20 Astina, priced from $40,590 plus on-road costs.

MAZDA Australia's beloved CX-5 has scored a kit upgrade for the 2020 model year, headlined by the Off-Road Traction Assist being added to all AWD variants.

The best-selling SUV in Australia is Mazda’s CX-5, and the company has tweaked its mid sizer by boosting outputs for the diesel engine and increasing the standard equipment list.

Mazda Australia is expected to launch a lightly refreshed version of its CX-3 small SUV in August that swaps out the current 1.5-litre turbo-diesel for a 1.8-litre unit.

Mazda will finally have a diesel-powered offering in the large SUV segment with the launch this month of the seven-seat CX-8 that will sit alongside the petrol-only CX-9.

Mazda revealed its heavily revised Mazda6 at this year’s LA show and the fresh-faced mid-sizer hits Australian shores later this month with a new turbocharged petrol engine borrowed from the CX-9.

Mazda is set to introduce the second and most comprehensive update for its BT-50 pick-up range this month, which will usher in a new front-end design and other changes.
