For the firs time, Porsche's new Boxster will be sold with four-cylinder turbo engines when it arrives in Australia in June. The 2.0-litre and 2.5-litre turbo fours will replace the 2.7-litre and 3.2-litre naturally-aspirated flat sixes in the old line-up.

Porsche lifted the lid on a more powerful and more focused version of its Boxster convertible at the Los Angeles motor show. The Boxster Spyder will be positioned above the regular Boxster and Boxster S, and is designed to appeal directly to penchants of stripped-out ‘Speedster’ versions of the 911 and iconic 356.
