Released: Jan 2018

Audi will bring its first plug-in hybrid Q7 large SUV to market in the first quarter, with the Q7 e-tron priced from $139,900 plus on-roads. It teams a 190kW/600Nm 3.0-litre turbo-diesel V6 to a 94kW/350Nm electric motor for a combined output of 275kW/700Nm.

Audi used the 2008 Geneva motor show to launch its new Q7 V12 TDI range-topper. The 368kW/1000Nm 60-degree 6.0-litre V12 engine propels the new Q7 flagship to 100km in a staggering 5.5 seconds. Fuel consumption is quoted at 11.9L/100km. The 12-pot Q7 TDI is expected locally in early 2009.

Audi is set to add a 240kW/650Nm 4.2-litre TDI turbo-diesel engine, as seen in the A8 sedan, to its Q7 seven-seater SUV wagon range. Due to arrive here in late 2007, following its world debut at the Geneva motor show in March, it will become the new Q7 flagship.
