New Chinese brand Deepal opens its Aussie account with the stylish and well-built family five-seat S07 coupe SUV targeting Tesla’s entry level Model Y RWD. A rear-wheel drive with a single synchronous permanent magnet electric, the S07 has 160kW/320Nm fed by an 80kWh battery.

MG MOTOR’S new gen’ ZS small SUV arrives in FWD Hybrid+ form first with petrol versions down the track. With hybrid powertrain availability, the new model is expected to build on its segment-leading position depending on price and specification.

MG’S long-awaited Cyberster two-seater electric sports car has finally made it Down Under initially in all-wheel drive form potentially with rear-drive and coupe versions later on. Funky stuff includes scissor doors and a dual motor powertrain with 375kW/725Nm fed by a 77kWh battery.

Model: CX80

Released: Nov 2024

Mazda CX-80 is available across four trim levels and three electrified driveline options to fill a gap vacated by the CX-8 and CX-9. The CX-80 fills the same role as a longer version of the CX-60 with the same trio of powertrain options offered on the CX-60, in petrol, diesel, and PHEV.

Model: CX70

MAZDA’s SUV range grows again with the Australian introduction of the CX-70, slotting into the new large SUV group as its flagship. The five-seater is available in GT and top-shelf Azami grades only, with petrol and diesel engines available in both trims, along with all-wheel drive as standard.

Model: G6

Released: Nov 2024

The local importer has revealed two variants of its G6 will be offered here, Standard and Long range both with rear-wheel drive. Both run 800V electrical architecture offering 190kW/440Nm and 210kW/440Nm respectively and up to a claimed 570km range.
