For its midlife update Commodore has adopted more angular front and rear styling (with triangular taillights) married to the more rounded middle section of the car that is carried over.
The GEN II V8 now produces 235kW/465Nm in four-speed auto or six-speed manual guises. 18-inch alloy wheels, sports seats, a body kit and sports suspension is part of the package.
Inside there is sporty new instrumentation panel with binnacle-style cluster featuring multi-function digital displays, new centre console and steering wheels.
There have also been some engineering refinements with improvements claimed to chassis dynamics, build precision, powertrain, safety and aerodynamic performance.
