A facelift of the 1988 VN, the VP differed with recalibrated steering and suspension, a clear plastic grille, revised taillight and some minor trim changes.
Its 3.8-litre V6 was quieter while independent rear suspension became standard in the Berlina.
New standard features: Improved audio, power front windows, IRS. From October 1992 wheels grow to 15”.
