This was the first real VT facelift. The Berlina (and Calais) differed from the lower-end models’ teardrop headlight shape by sporting a full-width grille, rectangular headlights, different bumpers and longer taillight treatments.
The 3.8-litre V6 engine was uprated to 152kW. Sales kept storming along.
Engine options: 171kW Supercharged 3.8 V6 (auto only), uprated 225kW 5.7 GEN III V8 with a four-speed automatic.
