Super TestCar reviews - Mitsubishi - Lancer - Ralliart Evo VI sedanMitsubishi modelsControls24 Aug 2001 IN typical Japanese car fashion, Evo's indicator stalk is on the right-hand side and the power windows controls on the driver's door armrest. There is an auto-down function only for the driver's window. There is no rear wiper, but there are internal controls for rear foglights, headlight beam adjustment and instrument illumination, plus an interesting water-spray button which sends a cooling burst of water onto the throttle body to cool the intake charge when under-bonnet temperatures rise. Evo controls also include electric mirrors and floor-mounted internal boot and fuel cap release levers. There is also a driver's footrest and the steering wheel adjusts for height only. Did you know?Courtesy of a larger capacity intercooler, higher compression ratio, modified port configurations, new injectors and lighter crankshaft, pistons and conrods, Evo I weighed just 1170kg - 180kg less than the VR-4All car reviewsAlfa Romeo Abarth Alpine Alpina Audi Aston Martin BMW Bentley Chevrolet Chery Citroen Chrysler Dodge Cupra Ferrari DS Ford Fiat FPV Foton GWM Great Wall Holden Haval HSV Honda Hyundai Hummer Isuzu Infiniti Jeep Jaguar Lamborghini Kia LDV Land Rover Lotus Lexus Maserati Mahindra McLaren Mazda Mercedes-Benz Mercedes-AMG Mini MG Nissan Mitsubishi Peugeot Opel Proton Porsche Renault Ram Rover Rolls-Royce Skoda Saab SsangYong Smart Suzuki Subaru Toyota Tesla Volvo Volkswagen |
