Super TestCar reviews - Ford - T-Series - TS50 sedanFord modelsResearch Ford OverviewFord's TS50 flagship provided the looks as well as the urge to match its rivals21 May 2002 IT'S not often one runs out of superlatives with which to describe a car. But then, the Blue Oval's 250kW TS50 is not just any old conveyance. The latest generation of HSV-rivalling sports sedans from Ford's performance partner Tickford - dubbed T3 and packing a stroked, 5.6-litre Windsor V8 - is the quickest and most powerful production Falcon ever produced in Australia. A return to the big-inch Ford V8, the TS50 is also a prime example of competition improving the breed: the car Henry had to build. Ford may be late to the ultra-high performance party, but the new T-Series flagship finally has the urge to match its class-leading agility. Sure to become a collector's item, the limited edition TS50 is also a fitting finale to three-and-a-half decades of Windsor V8s.
