Super TestCar reviews - Ford - T-Series - TS50 sedanFord modelsResearch Ford Sound System10 May 2002 TS50 features a 100-watt AM/FM Prestige Audio system. Unlike the entry level TE50's more basic system, it features six speakers, a cassette player and a six-disc in-dash stacker, rather than four speakers and a single-CD slot. But TS50 misses out on the long-wheelbase TL50's Premium Audio system, which offers 250 watts and 11 speaker elements. This can be optioned on both the TE and TS, however, while all T-Series sound systems are security coded, include an automatic electric aerial and feature an LCD display and six presets. The on/off and volume knob is large but placed on the worng (left) side and, curiously, there are no steering wheel controls. Did you know? The entry level TE50 gets a blue instrument cluster instead of the TS and TL50's classier white-faced instrument dials. But it is still a unique Tickford unit - complete with extra oil pressure and volt meter gauges as well as the usual temperature and fuel gaugesAll car reviewsAlfa Romeo Abarth Alpine Alpina Audi Aston Martin BMW Bentley Chevrolet Chery Citroen Chrysler Dodge Cupra Ferrari DS Ford Fiat FPV Foton GWM Great Wall Holden Haval HSV Honda Hyundai Hummer Isuzu Infiniti Jeep Jaguar Lamborghini Kia LDV Land Rover Lotus Lexus Maserati Mahindra McLaren Mazda Mercedes-Benz Mercedes-AMG Mini MG Nissan Mitsubishi Peugeot Opel Proton Porsche Renault Ram Rover Rolls-Royce Skoda Saab SsangYong Smart Suzuki Subaru Toyota Tesla Volvo Volkswagen |
