Super TestCar reviews - Ford - T-Series - TS50 sedanFord modelsResearch Ford Safety10 May 2002 TS50 offers an abundance of active safety features, including a powerful standard braking system, sticky rubber and chassis dynamics other sports sedans would die for. But it is not exactly overflowing with passive safety features. Standard ABS (interestingly, three-channel on manuals, four-channel on autos) and twin front airbags are about the extent of its technical safety systems, as there is no electronic brake-force distribution, traction control or stability control. But TS50 does offer five lap-sash seatbelts, four head restraints (the front two adjustable for height), child locks for the rear doors, rear window locking, a child restraint anchor point and manual front seatbelt height adjustment.
