Super TestCar reviews - Ford - T-Series - TS50 sedanFord modelsResearch Ford Security10 May 2002 LIKE all Falcons, TS50 comes with Smartlock remote central locking via a small but tactile fob that, unlike Commodore's, is separate to the actual key. The remote control unit incorporates buttons for door locking and unlocking, boot unlocking and a panic function that simply sounds the horn continuously. Anti-hijacking, two-stage unlocking (which first opens the driver's door only) is now a standard Falcon feature (Commodore had it first). In addition to the Smartlock engine immobiliser system, TS50 also features an alarm and the micro-dot vehicle indentification system as used by HSV and BMW. Did you know?Other TS50 security items include an interior light-on function upon unlocking and shut-down, an internal door lock/unlock button, a power window delay function, a 90-second headlight switch-off delay function, an audible door-ajar warning, overhead interior light and twin front and rear reading lights. There is no automatic door locking or door lightingAll car reviewsAlfa Romeo Abarth Alpine Alpina Audi Aston Martin BMW Bentley Chevrolet Chery Citroen Chrysler Dodge Cupra Ferrari DS Ford Fiat FPV Foton GWM Great Wall Holden Haval HSV Honda Hyundai Hummer Isuzu Infiniti Jeep Jaguar Lamborghini Kia LDV Land Rover Lotus Lexus Maserati Mahindra McLaren Mazda Mercedes-Benz Mercedes-AMG Mini MG Nissan Mitsubishi Peugeot Opel Proton Porsche Renault Ram Rover Rolls-Royce Skoda Saab SsangYong Smart Suzuki Subaru Toyota Tesla Volvo Volkswagen |
