Super TestCar reviews - Nissan - Patrol - ST 3.0 TDi 5-dr wagonNissan modelsBrakes6 Feb 2001 By P TIBBLES THE Patrol's braking system is a solid, no-nonsense setup with four ventilated discs (larger at the back than at the front) and a transmission operated parking brake. Apportioning of brake pressure according to load disposition is by linkage-type valve that sends more braking to the rear wheels as load increases. The optional "intelligent" anti-lock system is unusual in that it continues to operate when the differential lock is engaged. The ABS also incorporates gravel road awareness and changes mode according to the road surface being traversed. Did you know?Front brakes are 306mm in diameter, and the rear, 316mm diameter. All discs are ventilatedAll car reviewsAlfa Romeo Abarth Alpine Alpina Audi Aston Martin BMW Bentley Chevrolet Chery Citroen Chrysler Dodge Cupra Ferrari DS Ford Fiat FPV Foton GWM Great Wall Holden Haval HSV Honda Hyundai Hummer Isuzu Infiniti Jeep Jaguar Lamborghini Kia LDV Land Rover Lotus Lexus Maserati Mahindra McLaren Mazda Mercedes-Benz Mercedes-AMG Mini MG Nissan Mitsubishi Peugeot Opel Proton Porsche Renault Ram Rover Rolls-Royce Skoda Saab SsangYong Smart Suzuki Subaru Toyota Tesla Volvo Volkswagen |
