Super TestCar reviews - Chrysler - Voyager - SEChrysler modelsEngine24 Oct 2001 THE Voyager's over-square, 3.3-litre cast iron V6 is a worked-over version of the previous engine. Neither torque nor power figures are especially impressive - 128kW at 5100rpm and 278Nm at 4000 rpm, compared with 116kW and 275Nm previously - but the pushrod engine manages the SE Grand Voyager's 1862kg (1960kg LX and 1973kg Limited) without a problem. Chrysler says the reworked engine is quieter and smoother, cleaner running and more economical than its predecessor. Although the maximum torque is only up by three Newton metres - and at a relatively high engine speed - the company says there is a 10 per cent increase in the important low-speed range.
