The latest Voyager is also claimed to be structurally a lot stronger than its forebear with 20 per cent more torsional strength than the previous model, while a completely re-designed steering column absorbs and manages impact energy more effectively than before. The dual front airbags incorporate dual-stage inflation to help prevent damage to passengers in both low and high-speed collisions. Pretensioners are used in both front seatbelts and the mounting system for the second and third row seats is designed to effectively restrain children as well as adults. Three-point harnesses are provided on the rear centre seat. The Voyager meets European side and offset impact standards.
