M3 adds to this Dynamic Stability Control (DSC III) and a low tyre pressure indicator (pictured). There are three-point seatbelts and adjustable head restraints for all four outboard passengers - the front pair adjustable for sash height. But the centre rear occupant must make do with an inferior lap-only seatbelt. A single child restraint anchor is mounted in the centre of the rear parcel shelf, as required by Australian Design Rules, with another two anchor points beneath removable sections of the rear speakers.
