The hatch opening is large and the cargo aperture a good size, but it's quite a lift to get luggage over the loading lip. The tailgate features one of the Sports Coupe's intriguing design features, with a transparent lower plastic panel which aids rear visibility. The hatch can be locked centrally and opens via a latch on the tailgate. There is no internal latch release.
