Despite its shorter exterior length, Benz says most vital measures are very close to the sedan. All passengers get headrests and lap-sash seatbelts, but only the front seat passengers get overhead grabhandles. There are dual front and side airbags for the front seat passengers while windowbags look after rear seat passengers in side collisions as well. There are several storage options up front, including front door pockets, a large glovebox, lidded boxes at both ends of the centre console, the one at the rear adjusting for height and doubling as an armrest. There's even a cupholder in the centre console hidden under a neat blind. Rear seat passengers are not well looked after, however, with no storage options.
