The result is a more heavily bolstered, full leather and power version of the XT's new standard sports bucket seat. In Ghia specification, the front seats also each have lumbar support adjustment and an individually styled head restraint, while the driver's seat offers six-way power adjustment - including slide and cushion tilt. Seat recline and lumbar support remain adjustable by (redesigned) large rotating dials, while Fairmont Ghia's all-leather seats are trimmed in a warm charcoal or stone. Leather and cloth upholstery is available as a no-cost option. The new front seats are mounted 12mm further inboard to house the seat-mounted side airbags, improving access to the side-mounted adjusters, the driver's seat height adjustment range has increased by 10mm to 50mm and front seat track travel has increased 24mm.
