Super TestCar reviews - Ford - Falcon Ute - XR6 VCT Pursuit utilityFord modelsResearch Ford Climate Control23 Jan 2002 THE heating/ventilation system in the XR6 is controlled by three rotary dials for temperature, fan speed and air direction. Manual air-conditioning is standard and the rear cabin window is fitted with a demister. There is no separate switch for air recirculation, as it has been incorporated into the vent outlet dial, meaning there are seven choices instead of the usual five. Recirculation is only available on "face" or "face/feet" settings as a result. Dual vents are located on the outboard edges of the dashboard for driver and passenger, while there are a further two vents at the top of the main control console. Each vent has a control wheel that allows it to be closed off partially or completely, as required. Did you know? For 15 years during the 1980s and 1990s Ford chose not to offer a V8 ute. It was discontinued in 1982 and did not reappear until October, 1997All car reviewsAlfa Romeo Abarth Alpine Alpina Audi Aston Martin BMW Bentley Chevrolet Chery Citroen Chrysler Dodge Cupra Ferrari DS Ford Fiat FPV Foton GWM Great Wall Holden Haval HSV Honda Hyundai Hummer Isuzu Infiniti Jeep Jaguar Lamborghini Kia LDV Land Rover Lotus Lexus Maserati Mahindra McLaren Mazda Mercedes-Benz Mercedes-AMG Mini MG Nissan Mitsubishi Peugeot Opel Proton Porsche Renault Ram Rover Rolls-Royce Skoda Saab SsangYong Smart Suzuki Subaru Toyota Tesla Volvo Volkswagen |
