Super TestCar reviews - Daewoo - Lanos - Sport 3-dr hatchDaewoo modelsSeat Plan16 Jan 2001 THE excellent packaging of Lanos makes it a versatile little car. Rear seat space is large enough to accommodate two adults with ease. Rear shoulder room is 1360mm, wide enough for two broad-shouldered Australians, and rear legroom measures 870mm. A split/fold rear seat increases the already generous (for this class) luggage-carrying capacity from 250 to 886 litres. Head room front and rear is generally good for such a compact car. Rear quarter windows are hinged to provide rear passengers with extra ventilation, a rarity in the baby three-door class. An offset pedal arrangement reduces the driver's level of comfort. Front door pockets assist with the storage of maps and other items. The absence of vanity mirrors makes lipstick application and nose powdering more difficult. A bin in the centre console raises the storage options in the cabin. Three seatbelts are provided for the rear bench seat, but the available space is suitable for two bodies only. Rear legroom is adequate for this class.
