Road TestCar reviews - Daewoo - Leganza - sedanDaewoo modelsOverviewDaewoo's Camry rival replaced the slow-selling Espero in Australia9 May 2001 DAEWOO'S Leganza has undisputed presence on the road with its European-sourced styling - and now it backs this up with a willing 2.2-litre engine to replace the previous underwhelming 2.0-litre unit. The Leganza is notable for its design competence, good quality and a well fitted-out, spacious interior. Its main problem is the stiff competition from the likes of four-cylinder Camry, Holden Vectra, Subaru Liberty and Mazda 626. The South Korean car lacks the historical depth to have buyers instantly turning away from the established marques.
