Available only in the sedan body style, it doesn't scream high voltage as it slips through the traffic, going largely unnoticed in the traffic-choked road network of inner-city Melbourne, its ideal terrain. Claiming a 37km electric-only range as well as a petrol powerplant donated by the 320i, the greener 3 asks a little more at the dealership but demands little else from the driver in compromise for its frugal nature.
