With a facelift of dubious aesthetic merit, the Series II neverthelesslooked fresh with its new nose and taillights, and also included minor trim and dashboard changes.
Better storage facilities were the upshot, although there were no changes to either the 40kW 1.0 or 75kW 1.3 GTvi models mechanically.
But sales started to slide despite keen pricing as competition from Toyota's Echo, the new Hyundai Getz and the Holden Barina hotted up.
