Global career path leads former Holden PR Poppitt to big GM comms role in Detroit7 Nov 2022 By NEIL DOWLING FORMER Holden communications director Sean Poppitt has been appointed executive director for global Buick and GMC communications, based at General Motors headquarters in Detroit.
He was previously director of communications for General Motors Africa and Middle East (AMEO), based in Dubai.
Mr Poppitt was Holden’s PR boss from February 2015 to January 2018 before becoming director of communications for GM Southeast Asia until July 2019.
He was then promoted internally to the region’s director of marketing, communications and customer experience.
