Sean Kim to further Hyundai’s WRC successes as new Hyundai Motorsport president16 May 2022 By NEIL DOWLING HYUNDAI Motorsport has announced a change to its senior management, with Korean national Sean (Seon-Pyung) Kim taking over the role of company president, based in the town of Alzenau Germany.
Mr Kim replaces Scott Noh who will take up a new position at Hyundai Motor Company in Korea. His four years as the president of Hyundai Motorsport is part of a standard rotation of senior management within the global Hyundai organisation.
During Mr Noh’s tenure, Hyundai Motorsport secured consecutive world titles in the FIA World Rally Championship (2019 and 2020) and the WTCR – FIA World Touring Car Cup (2018 and 2019).
