New electric bus company Switch Mobility to be led by former Aston Martin boss Palmer12 Jul 2021 By NEIL DOWLING FORMER Aston Martin CEO Andy Palmer has taken on a new role as executive vice chairman and CEO of electric commercial vehicle group Switch Mobility.
Mr Palmer joins the company as it announces the electrification of buses from Indian manufacturer Ashok Leyland and its British arm, Optare.
Backing Switch Mobility is Hinduja Group, an Indian-UK based conglomerate in oil, banking and finance, automotive, IT and real estate that last year turned over $A140 billion.
