News - General News - PeopleAston Martin gets new China-APAC headChanging of guard at Aston Martin in China-APAC as Freda Wang succeeds Michael Peng15 Mar 2022 By NEIL DOWLING ASTON Martin Lagonda has appointed Freda Wang as regional president of China and Asia-Pacific, succeeding Michael Peng who has become executive vice president of the region.
Previously vice president of national sales at Mercedes-Benz Canada, Ms Wang joins Aston Martin in its fastest growing market, which set sales records in 2021 and has growth of more than 200 per cent led by popularity of its DBX SUV.
Driven by strong demand in China, Aston Martin’s APAC region wholesaled a record 1815 units in 2021, accounting for almost 30 per cent of Aston Martin’s global wholesale volume.
