News - Aston Martin - DBX707Aston Martin reveals DBX707 AMR24All show, no extra go for Aston Martin’s F1 inspired series DBX707 AMR24 Edition4 Jul 2024 By MATT BROGAN ASTON MARTIN has repeated efforts made last year to produce a Formula 1-inspired DBX707.
This year’s edition, appropriately following last year’s AMR23 with ‘AMR24’ nomenclature, is again a visual upgrade only with no additional power or torque offered over the ‘ample’ derivative variant.
Again celebrating the British marque’s role in Formula 1, the Aston Martin DBX707 AMR24 Edition looks markedly similar to last year’s model and remains available with Podium Green paint and Lime Green accents (with available matching callipers), or optional Onyx Black or Neutron White finishes with Trophy Silver accents.
The model is further differentiated by a unique engine plaque, 23-inch Fortis alloy wheels (in Satin- or Gloss Black), Aston Martin’s recently updated dashboard and steering wheel, Inspire Sport upholstery (in Onyx Black with choice of Lime or Eifel Green contrasts), additional garnishing, ‘AMR24’ etched door cards, and Bowers & Wilkins 23-speaker addition system.
Under the bonnet the 4.0-litre Mercedes-AMG sourced V8 continues to provide 520kW of power and 900Nm of torque. It drives all four wheels via a nine-speed automatic transmission. The 0-60mph standard is covered in just 3.1 seconds en-route to a v-max of 193mph (308km/h).
“Now with a technically advanced interior to match its class leading performance, the DBX707 AMR24 Edition is a stand-out ultra-luxury SUV with incredible road presence,” said Aston Martin global chief brand and commercial officer Marco Mattiacci.
“Aston Martin are competing at the pinnacle of world motorsport, which represents a key pillar in our brand and product strategy for our road cars, and it’s a real pleasure to offer this special edition in celebration of the Aston Martin Aramco Formula 1 team.”
Aston Martin has not advised pricing for the DBX707 AMR24 Edition but says the model is available for customers to order.
