New models - Toyota - Yaris - RushToyota on the Rush-in frontValue-added Rush model joins Toyota's class-leading Yaris light-car range26 May 2008 TOYOTA Australia has joined the rush to produce special-edition models by launching the appropriately named Yaris Rush. However, while the likes of Holden are providing massive extra equipment and sometimes with reduced prices, this special-edition version of Toyota segment-leading Yaris arrives with just $1000 worth of extra equipment for an extra $500 in price. Priced from $16,890 with a five-speed manual (add $1500 for the four-speed auto), the 1.3-litre Yaris Rush is based on the five-door YR but gets the YRX model’s 15-inch alloys in place of its usual 14-inch steel wheels. Other extra equipment includes a six-stack audio unit in place of the standard single CD player, Bluetooth connectivity, foglights and Yaris-branded floor mats.
