Now available from $38,990 plus on-road costs, the Kangoo range commences with the short-wheelbase 1.3-litre turbocharged petrol six-speed manual. It is followed by a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission equipped sibling, and a long-wheelbase variant, also featuring a 1.3-litre turbocharged petrol engine and seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Petrol models are powered by a 1.3-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine delivering 96kW and 240Nm with a combined cycle fuel consumption number as low as 6.2 litres per 100km.
“With its bold, contemporary design, a brand-new interior and the latest in driver assistance technologies, including AEB with pedestrian, cyclist and junction detection, the new Renault Kangoo is a proven and valuable tool for small businesses,” said Renault Australia general manager Glen Sealey.
Renault Kangoo petrol models are backed by a five-year/200,000km warranty.

Within the Vans/CC under 2.5t segment, Renault has sold just 42 examples of the Kangoo to the end of June compared with 282 examples of the Peugeot Partner and 394 Volkswagen Caddy van models.
