New models - MG - MG4Limited time price cuts to MG 4MG 4 now available from $32,990 drive-away; while ZS SUV scores drive-away pricing3 Dec 2024 MG MOTOR has for the seventh time this year slashed the price of its electric MG 4 hatch, the recently announced national drive-away offer seeing the Excite 51 variant available from $32,990 – a saving of up to $8457 – and the high-trim Excite 64 from $34,990 – or up to $10,910 cheaper than before.
The Chinese importer says the December-only deal proves that it is continuing to lead the way forward for Australian buyers wishing to make the switch to EV motoring, adding that deals remain available on Essence 64 and 77 models, as well as the flagship XPower AWD, all of which are currently available with factory cash-back offers of up to $8000^.
“MG saw an incredible response to the pricing offers on the MG4 in October,” said MG Motor Australia chief commercial officer Giles Belcher.
“Our dealerships across the country were able to help Australians switch to EV driving with the MG4. It has been recognised with more than 15 global awards.
“Across the MG4 range, buyers can own a fantastic car, backed by our industry leading 10-year warranty and a five-star ANCAP safety rating.
Featuring a 51kWh battery, the MG 4 Excite 51 offers up to 350km driving range and includes standard equipment such as five driving modes (Eco, Normal, Sport, Snow, Custom), four regenerative braking modes (1, 2, 3, and Auto), one pedal mode, a 10.25-inch multi-function colour touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, MG Pilot driver safety technology, vehicle-to-load functionality (V2L), i-Smart connectivity, a reverse camera, and 17- or 18-inch alloys with two-tone aero covers.
Higher grade Essence variants add satellite navigation, 360-degree parking cameras, height adjustable loading floor, wireless phone charging, Bluetooth connectivity, and an auto-dimming rear-view mirror.
The impressive MG Pilot safety suite available on MG 4 variants includes autonomous emergency braking (AEB) with pedestrian and bicycle detection, adaptive cruise control with traffic jam assist, intelligent speed limit assist with traffic sign recognition, lane keep assist with lane departure warning, driver attention alert and intelligent high beam assist.
To this the Essence variant adds dooring warning, rear cross-traffic alert, blind spot detection and lane change assist.
“There are great value deals across the full MG 4 range. These price offers finish at the end of the year and will never be repeated.
“Our network of nearly 100 dealers across Australia are only too happy to help customers have an amazing Christmas present of unwrapping a bow on their new MG 4.
“For those Australians who have solar panels, they can make the most of summer and charge their car at home from the sun’s rays. Charging costs can be minimal as a result and you’ll love getting around to catch up with friends and family this holiday season.
