The bonus applies to all variants excluding the range-topping XSR.
GWM Australia says the bonus is aimed at reinforcing its commitment to providing best-in-class value, the model continuing to garner widespread praise for its value-for-money stance and extensive feature list.
“We are thrilled to offer our customers even greater value with the GWM Cannon Ute,” said GWM Australia head of marketing and communications Steve Maciver.
“This additional factory bonus reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering feature packed vehicles, at outstanding value.
“The ute segment in Australia remains a key focus for us given the industry growth over the past few years.
“As we continue to build on the pillars of quality, performance, and affordability, we know that this competitive pricing will further enhance its appeal to the Australian consumers.”
Since its introduction in 2021, GWM have delivered close to 30,000 Cannon Utes, making it one of the brand’s volume sellers.
The Chinese manufacturer says the model has contributed significantly to its success in the Australian market, where it now sells alongside the recently introduced, and larger, Cannon Alpha.
GWM now sells a total of eight models in the Australia market, including the Haval SUVs, Tank 4x4, GWM Ute, and ORA electric vehicles. All are supported by its 103-strong dealer network.
