Hyundai lets its latest cat out the bag by issuing a teaser shot of its new Elantra11 Apr 2006 HYUNDAI has released teaser shots of the all-new Elantra hatch due to go on sale here in the third quarter of this year. As the teaser photo shows, the Elantra will have a European-styled front-end, with teardrop-style headlights and integrated grille. Visually, the Elantra is said to have a high-shoulder line with six-window side-glass similar to the Grandeur flagship sedan. The rear boot line is high and there is also a steeply raked rear window. Inside the car adopts a three-gauge instrument binnacle, high-staked stereo controls and three-spoke steering wheel with audio and cruise control buttons. Insiders say the Elantra’s quality levels have again improved. The car is expected to be available in both sedan and hatch variants, and will follow the Australian release next month of an all-new Accent hatch and all-new Santa Fe SUV from Hyundai.
