Future models - Ford - Focus - CCFirst look: Pininfarina delivers crisp cabrioletStylish Vignale concept cabrio evolves into Focus four-seater convertible1 Mar 2006 TWO years after Ford debuted the Vignale Concept at the Paris motor show, the Blue Oval has finally launched the production version – the Focus Coupe-Cabriolet. A joint-venture project with Pininfarina, the four-seater cabriolet remains true to the concept and features a two-piece folding electric steel roof offering luggage volume of more than 500 litres with the roof up. Inside, the emphasis is on refinement with premium materials used. In Europe, the cabrio will be offered with a choice of three engines – a 74kW 1.6-litre Duratec four-cylinder, 108kW 2.0-litre Duratec four, or the latest-generation 101kW 2.0-litre Duratorq TDCi turbodiesel. An Australian release is likely late this year, or early in 2007.
