The front uses wide-based L-shaped lower arms mounted to a tubular sub-frame for greater stability. A linear control valve is used with low-pressure gas-filled dampers to ultimately reduce body roll, smooth the vehicle's response to steering input and reduce vibration over rough surfaces. The rear suspension, meanwhile, is also mounted to a sub-frame and has more wheel travel than the previous model.
