Road TestCar reviews - Toyota - Camry - Azura sedanToyota modelsOverviewWould you believe Toyota aimed the Camry Azura at younger buyers?5 Apr 2001 By TIM BRITTEN WITH the arrival of the larger Avalon, Toyota Australia has had to re-launch the V6 Camry and aim it a younger audience. To do that, it's dropped the luxury line-up of Vientas and introduced a couple of new models including the new top-spec Camry called Azura, which Toyota describes as a sports tourer. Where the Vientas were plush, boulevarders, the Azura is an altogether tighter and up-tempo package. It takes the Camry's virtues of honesty, reliability, good resale and a quality drivetrain and combines them with a chassis set-up and level of interior appointments that make it an altogether impressive package. The best Camry yet? Undoubtedly.
