Peugeot also improved the ergonomics of the climate control system that is standard on all models and rain-sensing windscreen wipers are also used in the 406. The wiper rate varies according to the amount of rain sensed on the screen. Peugeot's indicator lever is on the left of the steering column, while the power window and mirror controls gained improved ergonomic design in 1999. The steering column is adjustable for height and reach and, unlike most European cars, the Peugeot locates its master light switch, Japanese-style, on a steering column stalk Did you know? The wiring system acronyms include BSI (built-in system interface, VAN (vehicle area network) and CAN (control area network)All car reviewsAlfa Romeo Abarth Alpine Alpina Audi Aston Martin BMW Bentley Chevrolet Chery Citroen Chrysler Dodge Cupra Ferrari DS Ford Fiat FPV Foton GWM Great Wall Holden Haval HSV Honda Hyundai Hummer Isuzu Infiniti Jeep Jaguar Lamborghini Kia LDV Land Rover Lotus Lexus Maserati Mahindra McLaren Mazda Mercedes-Benz Mercedes-AMG Mini MG Nissan Mitsubishi Peugeot Opel Proton Porsche Renault Ram Rover Rolls-Royce Skoda Saab SsangYong Smart Suzuki Subaru Toyota Tesla Volvo Volkswagen |
