The tight cockpit forces many drivers to place the seat back as far as possible to operate the pedal properly and the wide centre console tends to force the left leg of many drivers into an angle that renders the footrest useless. The MGF's manually operated Pininfarina-designed woven acrylic tonneau cover is easy and simple to erect, but does not fold into its own compartment and when up does not tend to fit very well.
