Peugeot 208Second-generation 2081 Oct 2015 The Peugeot 208 was updated in October 2015, with a grade alignment designed to match the 308 range. A new entry-level grade, known as the Access, gave Peugeot its cheapest-ever car in the Australian market, with the five-speed manual/60kW 1.2-litre three-cylinder combo starting at $15,990 plus ORCs. A six-speed Aisin automatic added 21kW to the engine and $3000 to the bill. The Euro 6-compatible 81kW/205Nm three-cylinder petrol engine and six-speed auto carried through the entire line, which included Access, Active and Allure grades. The 208 GTI also scored the new Euro 6-ready 1.6-litre four-cylinder engine from the limited-edition 30th Anniversary Edition car. It made 153kW and 300Nm.
