Nissan PulsarN121 Oct 1982 Just one year later Nissan unveiled the bigger, wedgier, second generation Pulsar N12 series. The rationalised range consisted of the base 44kW 1.3-litre Pulsar 1300 and two 51.4kW 1.5-litre five-door hatchbacks in TC and TS configurations. A re-engineered automatic gearbox, revised steering and suspension calibrations and upgraded front-drive hardware were among the mechanical advances. With its swoopy good looks and much improved space utilisation, the N12 proved popular. It was also the final fully-imported Pulsar until Nissan’s local assembly operations ceased in late 1992. |
