Nissan PathfinderPathfinder Series II1 Sep 1992 The big news was the discontinuation of the two-door Pathfinder wagon for a four-door wagon utilising Alfa 156-like hidden door handles. The 113kW/248Nm V630E 3.0-litre OHC V6 engine from the contemporary Maxima replaced the old 2.4 four-cylinder unit, while a four-speed automatic transmission became available for the first time. The DX disappeared, while a top-line Ti with optional leather and CD player left little doubt of the Pathfinder’s buyer aspirations. New seats, revised trim, better safety and a new nose completed the changes, although the wishbone torsion bar front and coil spring rear suspension remained unaltered. For the 1994 model year a modern dashboard design was incorporated. |
