BMW 4 Series

F32 Series II 4 Series

1 Jun 2017

BMW’S updated and new-look 4 Series range arrived in Australian showrooms without a diesel engine option and with a price hike on some variants.

However, the inclusion of more standard equipment, the latest iDrive6 infotainment system and retuned suspension help offset the cost adjustments.

Across the new 4 Series range, BMW fitted bi-LED headlights, LED front fog lights and new-look L-shaped LED tail-lights, while 440i versions gained adaptive LED lighting.

BMW also included the Luxury Line package as standard in the new 4 Series, which incorporated a redesigned front apron and 19-inch alloy wheels, while two new colours – Sunset Orange metallic and Snapper Rocks Blue – made their exclusive debut with the facelifted range.

Inside, the sports steering wheel was modified with Nora leather, the centre console finished in high-gloss black, and the wiper and indicator stalks redesigned for a more feedback.

Tweaks to the adaptive suspension also saw the new 4 Series fitted with stiffer springs and improved dampers, while the electrically-assisted power steering system was also recalibrated for more feedback and control, as Variable Sport Steering remained an option.
