For the final Australian-built Toyota Aurion, the Japanese car-maker was more restrained with its last update when compared with the mechanically similar Camry, which got all-new sheet metal.
The 2015 Aurion had a much lighter facelift for all of the three-variant line-up, while the new Sportivo version consolidated the two previous SX6 and ZR6 into one variant and brought a number of chassis modifications to appeal to a more enthusiastic driver.
The mid-range Aurion was treated to more safety gear, as were the Presara range topper and AT-X entry-level variant.
