For 2015, Peugeot dropped the mid-range petrol-powered Allure 508 sedan and wagons, with the 1.6-litre four-cylinder turbo only available under the bonnet of the base Active sedan.
The entry-level 508 was given a little more poke with an extra 6kW and the same 240Nm from the much awarded PSA engine.
Power and torque was reduced for the GT version following a reduction of engine size from 2.2-litres to 2.0-litres but the downsizing boosted efficiency to 4.4 litres per 100km.
A facelift brought a more likeable and up to date look for the mid-sized sedan, including high-tech LED headlights for the flagship GT.
