In August 2018, Mazda launched the CX-3 facelift in Australia.
The biggest change was a switch to a larger diesel engine (1.8 litres), while a number of noise-suppression measures were instigated to make the popular small SUV quieter. The 2.0-litre petrol engine received some minor efficiency mods to increase power and torque a little, extra standard equipment was introduced, and the chassis underwent a few changes in order to improve the ride and handling capabilities.
