Haval launched in the Australian marketplace in late 2015 with its H8 large-sized SUV, one of three models the Chinese car-maker offered upon arrival.
Powered exclusively by a 160kW 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, and a choice of rear- and all-wheel-drive layouts, standard safety features included hill descent control and a forward collision warning system.
The Haval H8 came with standard equipment including leather-faced seats with electric adjustment, leather steering wheel, sunroof, keyless entry and start, satellite navigation, automatic wipers, parking sensors and a three-zone climate control system.
